The challenge 

Moisture is a fertile breeding ground for germs that increase bacterial pressure and ammonia production. It is also a source of discomfort for animals. Reducing moisture represents a major challenge for improving environmental safety. 

The solution 

Alizé® is a dessicant powder composed of dried and micronized clay, selected minerals and essential oils. 

Alizé® is used for drying boxes and litters, as well as for direct contact with animals. It can be used for all species.

APPLICATION IN PRODUCTION: 

In PIG: 

• Improving sows hygiene and comfort through humidity control: spread Alizé® in farrowing, insemination and gestation pens. 
• Improving piglets comfort: fully dip piglets in Alizé® at birth and spread Alizé® on the piglets nest. 

In DAIRY: 

• Mastitis risk management: spread Alizé® on the cubicles or straw areas. 
• Increasing calves welfare: apply Alizé® on calf’s umbilical cord at birth and spread Alizé® in calves pens. 

In POULTRY: 

• Preparing the shed: blow Alizé® in the barn to dry and reduce humidity. 
• Improving litter quality: spread Alizé® along the drinkers and on wet areas.

APPLICATION TOOLS:

BLOWER:

Blowing Alizé® enables a fast and homogeneous application of the product, a good diffusion of essential oils leading to a better atmosphere in the room or in the building. 

SPREADER:

The spreader enables to apply the right quantity of Alizé® along the drinkers and on wet areas. It is fast and easy to use.

Directions for use

In pig:

• Pregnant Sows & Boar Pens: 100g/day/animal or 250g/animal 3 times a week
• Farrowing: spread Alizé® over the whole pen espacially on wet areas every day 100g/sow/day.
• Pig on straw or wood shaving: 250g/pig every 2 days

In dairy:

• Cubicles: 100g/cow/day on the outer half of the stall every two days
• Straw area: 300g/cow every 2 days
• Calves’ pens: 150g/m² every 2 days

In poultry:

• Broilers: 250g/m²/week from the 1st week (minimum 3 weeks)
• Turkeys: 250g/m²/week from the 1st week (minimum 3 weeks)
• Ducks on straw litter: 75 g / m2 every 2 days from the 1st day
